I looked off to the side, bored out of my fucking mind.

Damien stood next to me, his expression unreadable. Everyone gave us a wide berth, which was good, because I wasn’t in the mood to socialize with anyone.

Alyosha stood in the center like he was the king of the world, entertaining his guests. Did the fucker think throwing a party and inviting people over for most days that we were here would protect him?

It was one of the many reasons why I hadn’t taken Catalina outside yet like she’d requested. I didn’t want her to see all the debauchery going on around the house.

A woman walked up to me, a tray of tiny food resting on her shoulder.

She was in nothing but a black lace thong. She had dead eyes.

She wasn’t smiling.

Another reason why I hadn’t taken Catalina out. I didn’t want her to see the other women here. After what happened when she asked one of them for help, I doubted she would risk it again, but that didn’t mean the situation going on here was something I wanted to expose her to.

Ironic. I wanted to ruin her as much as I wanted to protect her. And right now, that protective instinct was winning. I shook my head at the woman and she walked away, to the center of the room, where Alyosha was talking.

He stepped back, and the woman tripped on his feet. The tray of food with a loud clang, and even from here, I could see the fear in her eyes. The first show of emotion. That move earned her a backhanded slap, and the woman fell before she was helped away by two other women.

My hand twitched.

“Remind me again why I can’t kill him?” I asked Damien.

He let out a sigh. “Not yet. We need that list, and I have no doubt the fucker hid it somewhere in this house. When we get it, you can have your fun.”

I cracked my neck. Fun was fucking right.

That little bit of play I’d given the fucker who touched Catalina wasn’t enough. I was getting restless.

And when I got restless, I usually fucked it out or I fucking killed someone.

Fucking was out of the question. Not with our little innocent princess holed up in the room. Fuck, I doubt she’d even seen a dick, and I didn’t want to scare her off if I walked into her room the way I was feeling now.

Although Mikhail had been spending a lot of time with her.

I could feel a small smirk forming. I wondered how far he’d gotten. I licked my lips. Probably further than me.

Alyosha laughed loudly, the booming sound carrying all the way to the end of the room. I gritted my teeth together.

My eyes trained on the fucker.

Killing someone was also out of the question, but fuck if I wasn’t hit with the urge so strong, it took everything to stay where I was.

The next motherfucker I killed would be Alyosha Petrov.

Fucking predatel’ in a slimy suit.
